About Us

After completing our first project, it was abundantly clear that there was a significant need for this type of home in the community. No one else was thinking of the needs of lifelong, fiercely independent retirees/seniors who just want to downsize and enjoy life! So, the building of the second 55+ community was set in motion, and work began on The Douglas. Before we even started construction, through word of mouth, we had to start a wait list. It was a satisfying experience. Grandpa and Grandma were the sounding board for ideas and conversations about their wants and needs. 

Our owners, Michael and Miranda, are passionate about providing beautiful, comfortable homes for individuals who would like to live independently and comfortably with the benefit of being amongst a friendly community in beautiful Owen Sound! With these goals in mind, we put exceptional service, care, and personal relationships into the spaces we build and manage. We pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our residents. The community of people who have moved into The Douglas care about their spaces and treat them as their homes. It's a win for everyone involved!
